An alternative way for residents to get rid of their own bulky items is by taking them to the landfill, which is FREE for Texarkana residents!
Waste Management operates a landfill that is located west of New Boston on U.S. 82, just east of I-30. There is no disposal fee for Texarkana residents for regular household waste (sofas, washers, dryers, etc.) For proof of residency, residents must bring with them their water bill.
Construction or remodel debris does not qualify for free disposal and will be charged on a per ton basis.
