The Board of Adjustment is a five member board appointed by the City Council to determine if a city official has made an error regarding a zoning requirement, or to hear requests for variances to the city zoning ordinance, including:
Setbacks
Height
Lot coverage
Non conforming structures
Meetings
The Board of Adjustment meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 5:15 p.m. as needed, in the Conference Room of city hall, located at 220 Texas Boulevard, Texarkana, Texas.
To make a zoning change request, please fill out the Zoning Board of Adjustment Application form, and the Zoning Board of Adjustments will take your request into consideration.
